Sarvodaya Ashram

Sarvodaya Ashram at Sekhodevara (Sokhodeora) in Nawada District, Bihar, is a Gandhian ashram established in the mid-1950s during the Bhoodan Movement. Founded by Jayaprakash Narayan with support from Acharya Vinoba Bhave, it served as a centre for Sarvodaya, Bhoodan and Gramdan activities. Located in a rural setting near Kawakol, the ashram is noted for its association with Gandhian social work and rural reconstruction in Bihar.
