Rajgir Ropeway
Rajgir Ropeway is an aerial single-seat chairlift in Rajgir, Nalanda district, Bihar, providing access to the Vishwa Shanti Stupa and Griddhakuta Hill atop Ratnagiri Hill. Regarded as India's oldest ropeway, commissioned in the 1960s, it is a major tourist attraction offering panoramic views of the Rajgir hills, forests and valley. The ropeway is the primary means for visitors to reach the hilltop Buddhist sites.
