Sidney Myer Music Bowl

The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is an iconic outdoor amphitheatre in the Kings Domain parklands of central Melbourne, Victoria. Opened in 1959 and funded by philanthropist Sidney Myer, it features a distinctive tensile canopy and lawn seating for up to 13,000 people. Operated by Arts Centre Melbourne, it hosts major concerts, festivals and the annual Carols by Candlelight, set against landscaped gardens near the Royal Botanic Gardens and Yarra River.
