Lake Mountain Alpine Resort

Lake Mountain Alpine Resort is Victoria's most accessible alpine resort, located about 120 km northeast of Melbourne near Marysville in the Yarra Ranges. Situated at 1,433 metres elevation, it is primarily a cross-country skiing and snow-play destination in winter, with extensive groomed trails and dedicated toboggan slopes. In the warmer months it offers mountain biking, hiking and adventure activities. Rebuilt after the 2009 bushfires, it serves as a year-round family-friendly mountain recreation area.

Mansfield

Mansfield is a country town in the foothills of the Victorian Alps in north-east Victoria, about 180 km north-east of Melbourne. It is the administrative centre of Mansfield Shire and the main gateway to Mount Buller Alpine Resort and Lake Eildon. Notable for its High Country heritage, pastoral history and alpine tourism, the town serves as a base for skiing in winter and hiking, cycling, boating and fishing in warmer months.

Wilsons Promontory National Park is a large coastal national park at the southernmost tip of mainland Australia in South Gippsland, Victoria. Covering about 50,500 hectares, it is known for granite mountains, sweeping beaches, sand dunes, heathlands and temperate rainforest. Established in 1898, it protects diverse wildlife and offers extensive hiking trails, camping at Tidal River, and scenic lookouts such as Mount Oberon.
