Mount Macedon Memorial Cross
The Mount Macedon Memorial Cross is a 21-metre high steel and concrete cross on the summit of Mount Macedon in Macedon Regional Park, Victoria, about 65 kilometres northwest of Melbourne. Erected in 1935 by William Cameron in memory of his son and other soldiers who died in World War I, it stands at 1,001 metres elevation. The site is a major war memorial and lookout offering panoramic views across Melbourne, Port Phillip Bay and the surrounding ranges.
