Bihar School of Yoga

Bihar School of Yoga is a renowned yoga training institution located at Ganga Darshan in the Fort area of Munger, Bihar, on a hill overlooking the Ganges River. Founded in 1964 by Swami Satyananda Saraswati, it was the first dedicated school of yoga in India and serves as the headquarters of the Satyananda Yoga system. It operates residential courses, Bihar Yoga Bharati university, and ashram lifestyle programs focused on traditional yoga, meditation and yogic studies.
