Rocky Cape National Park
Rocky Cape National Park is a coastal national park in north-west Tasmania between Wynyard and Stanley, within the Waratah-Wynyard and Circular Head local government areas. Established in 1967, it protects rugged headlands, sandy beaches, heathlands and two significant Aboriginal caves. The park is notable for its Aboriginal rock shelters with rock art, diverse wildflowers, coastal views across Bass Strait and a network of short walking tracks accessible from the Bass Highway.
