Australian Axeman's Hall of Fame
The Australian Axeman's Hall of Fame is a dedicated museum in Latrobe, northern Tasmania, on Bells Parade beside the Mersey River. Established to honour Australia's woodchopping and sawing champions, it preserves the history of timber sports that originated in Tasmanian forestry communities. The museum displays axes, trophies, memorabilia and inductee profiles, including world champion David Foster, and features a large outdoor axe sculpture marking its location.
