Salamanca Arts Centre

Salamanca Arts Centre is a major community arts centre located in seven historic Georgian sandstone warehouses at 77 Salamanca Place on Hobart's waterfront. Established in 1976, it occupies 1830s-1850s former whaling and maritime warehouses. It is notable as Tasmania's leading hub for contemporary arts, housing galleries, artist studios, performance venues, and shops within a heritage precinct adjacent to Salamanca Market.
