Low Head Penguin Tours
Low Head Penguin Tours is a guided wildlife experience at Low Head, near George Town in northern Tasmania, offering supervised viewing of a little penguin (Eudyptula minor) colony as birds return ashore after dark. Located on the foreshore near the historic Low Head Lighthouse and Coastal Reserve, the tour provides managed, low-impact access to one of Tasmania's most accessible mainland penguin rookeries while supporting conservation, education and protection of the colony.
