Gordon Dam
Gordon Dam is a 140-metre-high double-curvature concrete arch dam on the Gordon River in southwest Tasmania, near Strathgordon in the Derwent Valley. Completed in 1974, it impounds Lake Gordon, Tasmania's largest lake by volume, and supplies water to the Gordon Power Station. Located within the Southwest National Park area, it is notable as Tasmania's tallest dam and for its dramatic curved wall and remote wilderness setting.
