Inneston
Inneston is a heritage-listed historic gypsum mining township located within Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park at the southern tip of Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. Established in 1913 and abandoned by 1930, it preserves restored workers' cottages, mining ruins and Inneston Lake. Now managed as part of the national park, it offers visitors insight into early 20th-century industrial settlement amid coastal mallee scrub, salt lakes and limestone landscapes.
