Robe Lighthouse
Robe Lighthouse, commonly known as the Robe Obelisk or Cape Dombey Obelisk, is a historic navigational beacon on Cape Dombey at Robe in South Australia's Limestone Coast. Built in 1855 as a day beacon and store for rocket lifesaving equipment, the 12-metre striped obelisk guided vessels into Guichen Bay. It stands on rugged limestone cliffs overlooking the Southern Ocean and remains an iconic heritage landmark of the town.
