Magnetic Hill

Magnetic Hill is a gravity hill located on Magnetic Hill Road approximately 12 km north-west of Orroroo in the District Council of Orroroo Carrieton, South Australia. It is notable for an optical illusion where vehicles left in neutral appear to roll uphill, attributed to the surrounding landscape rather than magnetism. The site is a well-known roadside tourist curiosity in the southern Flinders Ranges region, marked by signage on a quiet rural road.
