Beltana Historic Town
Beltana Historic Town is a preserved 19th-century settlement in the Far North of South Australia, about 540 kilometres north of Adelaide near the Flinders Ranges. Established in the 1870s to service the Beltana pastoral station and nearby copper mines, it became a railway terminus and regional centre. Now a State Heritage Area, it retains stone buildings, ruins and streetscapes illustrating outback pastoral and mining history in an arid landscape.
