Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary
Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary is a 35-hectare fenced wildlife sanctuary in Mylor in the Adelaide Hills, about 20 km southeast of Adelaide, South Australia. Established in 1969 by conservationist Dr John Wamsley, it was Australia's first feral predator-free sanctuary. It protects native mammals including platypus, koalas, kangaroos, bettongs, potoroos and bandicoots within eucalypt woodland and wetland habitats behind predator-proof fencing.
