Rockhampton Zoo
Rockhampton Zoo is a free-entry community zoo located within the Rockhampton Botanic Gardens in The Range, Rockhampton, Queensland. Set on the slopes of Mount Archer, it houses more than 30 species of native and exotic animals including chimpanzees, cassowaries, koalas and crocodiles. Established as part of the historic Botanic Gardens, it is notable for its conservation, education programs and accessible, family-friendly setting in central Queensland.
