Tai Ahom Museum

Tai Ahom Museum is a history museum located in Sivasagar town, Assam, on the bank of the historic Sivasagar Tank. Established to preserve the heritage of the Ahom dynasty that ruled Assam for nearly 600 years, it displays Ahom-era artifacts including manuscripts, weapons, coins, utensils, textiles, and royal memorabilia. The museum offers insight into Tai-Ahom culture, language and traditions and is a key cultural attraction in the former Ahom capital.
