Kuranda Koala Gardens

Kuranda Koala Gardens is a small wildlife park located within the Kuranda Heritage Markets in Kuranda, in the Shire of Mareeba, Queensland, about 25 km northwest of Cairns. The park focuses on Australian native animals and is known for its interactive koala experiences, including supervised koala holding and photo opportunities. It also houses kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, freshwater crocodiles, lizards and snakes, offering close-up encounters and keeper presentations in a compact rainforest village setting.
