Barron Falls
Barron Falls is a steep tiered cascade waterfall on the Barron River within Barron Gorge National Park near Kuranda in northern Queensland, Australia. Located between Cairns and the Atherton Tablelands, it drops about 260 metres from the tablelands to the coastal lowlands. Famous for its dramatic wet-season flow and reduced dry-season trickle, it is viewed from lookouts accessible via walking tracks, the Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.
