Ajan Pir Dargah

Ajan Pir Dargah is the shrine of 17th-century Sufi saint Hazrat Azan Pir (Shah Milan) located on Saraguri Chapori, a river island in the Dikhow River near Sivasagar, Assam. Revered as a centre of Islamic preaching and Assamese devotional literature through Zikir and Zari, the dargah attracts pilgrims and visitors year-round, especially during the annual Urs festival. The simple white-domed structure set in a rural chapori landscape reflects the saint's legacy of religious harmony.
