Singing Ship Monument
The Singing Ship Monument is a distinctive wind-activated sculpture located on a coastal headland at Emu Park in the Livingstone Shire, Queensland. Erected in 1970 to commemorate the bicentenary of Captain James Cook's 1770 voyage along the central Queensland coast, the monument features a stylized ship structure that produces musical tones when wind passes through its pipes. Set above Keppel Bay with panoramic ocean views, it is an iconic landmark of the Capricorn Coast.
