Wallaman Falls
Wallaman Falls in Girringun National Park, about 51 kilometres west of Ingham in Hinchinbrook Shire, Queensland, is Australia's tallest single-drop waterfall with a 268-metre plunge. Fed by Stony Creek over the Seaview Range escarpment, it lies within Wet Tropics World Heritage rainforest. Notable for its sheer drop, deep gorge, accessible lookout and walking tracks to the base, it is a major natural attraction in north Queensland.
