Port Douglas
Port Douglas is a coastal resort town in Douglas Shire, Far North Queensland, about 67 kilometres north of Cairns between the Coral Sea and the Daintree Rainforest. It is a major gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree National Park. The town centres on Four Mile Beach, a long palm-fringed sandy beach, a marina, and a compact centre with shops, restaurants and Sunday markets, combining beach, reef and rainforest access.
