Gulflander
The Gulflander is a heritage railway operating between Normanton and Croydon in the Shire of Carpentaria, Queensland. Running on the isolated Normanton to Croydon line completed in 1891, the historic RM93 railmotor travels 152 kilometres through Gulf Savannah wetlands and grasslands. Notable for its steel sleepers and isolation from the main Queensland network, it offers a preserved late-19th-century rail experience and is a key tourist attraction for the Gulf region.
