Goongarrie National Park
Goongarrie National Park is a remote arid-zone national park in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, about 90 km north of Kalgoorlie and 40 km south of Menzies. Gazetted in 1978 over the former Goongarrie pastoral station, it protects 603 sq km of mulga woodland, spinifex sandplains, salt lakes and ephemeral claypans. Notable for seasonal wildflower displays, birdlife and semi-desert landscapes, it offers a low-key nature experience with no developed visitor facilities.
