Battery Hill Gold Mining and Heritage Centre
Battery Hill Gold Mining and Heritage Centre is a heritage museum and former gold processing site on Peko Road in Tennant Creek, Barkly region, Northern Territory. Established to preserve the town's 1930s gold rush history, it centres on a restored 10-head stamp battery, the last of its type operating in Australia. The centre displays mining machinery, minerals, photographs and heritage buildings, illustrating Tennant Creek's development as a major goldfield.
