Guwahati Planetarium is a dedicated astronomy education centre located on M.G. Road at Uzan Bazar in central Guwahati, Assam. Operated by the Assam Science Technology and Environment Council, it was inaugurated in 1994 and is the only planetarium in Northeast India. It features a distinctive dome structure and a hybrid planetarium projection system that simulates the night sky, eclipses and solar system movements for visitors and students.

Priyadarshini Planetarium in Thiruvananthapuram is one of India's most advanced planetariums, opened to the public in 1994.
