Corinna
Corinna is a remote historic township on the Pieman River at the southern edge of the Tarkine (takayna) in western Tasmania. Established during the 1881 Pieman River gold rush, it was once a thriving gold-mining port. Today it is a wilderness retreat within rainforest, providing access to the Pieman River, Tarkine rainforest and heritage mining sites, and serves as a base for eco-tourism and river-based exploration.
