Kinchega National Park
Kinchega National Park is a large semi-arid national park in far western New South Wales, adjoining the Darling River and the Menindee Lakes near Menindee, about 110 kilometres south-east of Broken Hill. Established in 1967 on the former Kinchega pastoral station, it protects floodplains, lake systems, river red gum woodlands and desert landscapes. It is notable for the historic Kinchega Woolshed, extensive Aboriginal heritage, diverse birdlife and remote outback camping and touring opportunities.
