Hill End Historic Site
Hill End Historic Site is a preserved gold rush village near Bathurst in New South Wales, managed by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. Once one of Australia's richest goldfields in the 1870s, it retains original buildings, relics and streetscapes from its peak population of around 8,000. The site offers museums, mine tours and heritage walks illustrating 19th-century gold mining life.
