Hill 60
Hill 60 is a coastal headland reserve at Port Kembla in Wollongong, New South Wales, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Lake Illawarra. It is notable for the heritage-listed Illowra Battery, a World War II coastal defence installation built to protect Port Kembla's steelworks and harbour. The site combines historic gun emplacements and tunnels with panoramic viewpoints, walking tracks and significant Aboriginal cultural landscape, making it a popular public lookout and heritage destination.
