Tharwa Bridge
Tharwa Bridge is a heritage-listed Allan truss road bridge spanning the Murrumbidgee River at Tharwa, about 35 kilometres south of Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory. Completed in 1895, it is the oldest surviving bridge in the ACT and a rare intact example of Percy Allan's timber truss design. Notable for its four timber spans, heritage listing and scenic river setting, it remains in use carrying Naas Road.
