Arkaroo Rock
Arkaroo Rock is an Aboriginal rock art site in Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park in South Australia, about 3 kilometres south of Wilpena Pound. The sandstone shelter contains ochre and charcoal paintings by the Adnyamathanha people depicting the creation story of Arkaroo, a giant serpent. Reached by a short walking trail, the site is notable for its cultural heritage, well-preserved rock art, and panoramic views over the Flinders Ranges landscape.
