Haig Park
Haig Park is a 19-hectare heritage-listed public park spanning the suburbs of Braddon and Turner in central Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. Planted in 1921 as a windbreak and shelter belt for the early capital, it is named after Field Marshal Earl Haig. The park is notable for its formal plantation of 14 rows of trees, predominantly exotic species, and its distinctive linear layout along Northbourne Avenue near the city centre.
