Moalboal Sardine Run

The Moalboal Sardine Run is a year-round aggregation of millions of sardines (Sardinella spp.) just off Panagsama Beach in Basdiot, Moalboal, Cebu. Located 20-40 meters from shore along a shallow reef drop-off, it is notable for being accessible by snorkeling directly from the beach without a boat. The phenomenon supports Moalboal's dive tourism and is protected within locally managed marine protected areas.
