Pakke Kessang

Pakke Kessang is the headquarters town of Pakke Kessang District in Arunachal Pradesh, located in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. Created as a new district in 2018 after bifurcation from East Kameng, it serves as an administrative centre and gateway to the Pakke Tiger Reserve. Surrounded by forested hills and river valleys, it is notable for its Nyishi tribal culture and proximity to biodiversity-rich forests.
