Declared a national park in 1937, it covers limestone mountains, river systems and more than 100 caves. It is notable for its natural scenery of cliffs, forests and rivers and for its association with the 1897 Republic of Biak-na-Bato and the Pact of Biak-na-Bato during the Philippine Revolution.
