Pawikan Conservation Center
The Pawikan Conservation Center is a community-managed sea turtle conservation facility located in Barangay Nagbalayong, Morong, Bataan. It protects nesting Olive Ridley turtles (pawikan) along the West Philippine Sea coastline. Established in 1999, the center operates a hatchery, conducts monitoring of nesting sites, and offers educational tours. It is notable as Bataan's primary turtle conservation site and a model for community-based coastal protection.
