Betung Kerihun National Park
Betung Kerihun National Park is a large protected rainforest in Kapuas Hulu Regency, West Kalimantan, along the Indonesia-Malaysia border. Established in 1995, it covers about 800,000 hectares and forms part of the Heart of Borneo. The park protects the upper Kapuas River watershed, Mount Betung and Mount Kerihun, and is notable for its exceptional Bornean biodiversity and traditional Dayak communities living within and around the forest.
