Jembatan Ampera
Jembatan Ampera is an iconic vertical-lift bridge spanning the Musi River in Palembang, South Sumatra, connecting the Seberang Ulu and Seberang Ilir districts. Completed in 1965 and originally named Jembatan Bung Karno, it was built using Japanese war reparations funds. With its distinctive red towers and central lift span, now fixed, it serves as the city's most recognizable landmark and a symbol of Palembang's development.
