Coleman Bridge
Coleman Bridge is a historic road bridge spanning the Singapore River in Downtown Core, connecting Hill Street and New Bridge Road between Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. Originally built in 1840 and named after architect George Drumgoole Coleman, it was Singapore's first bridge across the river. The current concrete structure opened in 1986, retaining heritage character. It offers pedestrian walkways and views of the river, shophouses, and civic district landmarks.
