Pramuka Island

Pramuka Island (Pulau Pramuka) is the administrative capital of the Thousand Islands Regency in Jakarta Bay, Java Sea, Indonesia. Located north of mainland Jakarta, it serves as the regency's government center and a populated residential island. Notable for its hawksbill sea turtle conservation center, mangrove areas, and as a base for island-hopping, snorkeling and marine tourism, it offers basic tourism infrastructure with homestays, eateries and bicycle transport.
