Kotdwar
Kotdwar is a municipal corporation in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, often referred to as the 'Gateway to Garhwal'. Located at the foothills of the Himalayas, it serves as a major entry point for tourists visiting hill stations like Lansdowne and wildlife reserves like Jim Corbett National Park. The city is known for its spiritual sites, including the Siddhbali Temple, and its historical significance as one of the earliest railway-connected towns in the region, established by the British in 1890.
