Tegalalang Rice Terrace

Tegalalang Rice Terrace is a series of terraced rice fields located in Tegalalang village, Gianyar Regency, north of Ubud in central Bali. Famous for its dramatic stepped valley landscape and traditional Balinese subak irrigation system, it offers layered green paddies descending into a lush river valley dotted with coconut palms. The site is a major cultural landscape and photography destination showcasing centuries-old agricultural practices still maintained by local farmers.
