Enggano Island

Taman Nasional Bukit Tiga Puluh

Taman Nasional Bukit Tiga Puluh is a lowland tropical rainforest national park straddling Riau and Jambi provinces in central Sumatra, Indonesia, with its Riau section in Batang Gangsal, Indragiri Hulu. Established in 1995 and expanded in 2002, it covers about 144,223 hectares. It is notable as one of the last large lowland forests in Sumatra and a critical habitat for endangered Sumatran tiger, Sumatran orangutan, Asian elephant, and indigenous Talang Mamak and Orang Rimba communities.

Tasik Bera

Tasik Bera is Malaysia's largest natural freshwater lake system located in Bera District, Pahang. Comprising a mosaic of open water, peat swamp forest and lowland forest, it was designated as Malaysia's first Ramsar wetland site in 1994. The lake is notable for its unique blackwater ecosystem, rich biodiversity including rare flora and fauna, and as the traditional home of the Semelai Orang Asli community who maintain a close relationship with the wetland environment.
