Cha-am Beach
Cha-am Beach is a long, sandy beach on the Gulf of Thailand in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province, about 170 km southwest of Bangkok. One of Thailand's oldest seaside resorts, it is known for its wide, gently sloping white sand shoreline lined with casuarina trees, shallow calm waters and relaxed family-oriented atmosphere. The beach features a continuous promenade, seafood restaurants, accommodation and proximity to the historic Mrigadayavan Palace.
