Rabindra Sadan

Rabindra Sadan is a major cultural centre and auditorium in Kolkata, located on Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road near the Nandan complex. Built in 1961 to commemorate the birth centenary of poet Rabindranath Tagore and inaugurated by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, it is a leading venue for Bengali theatre, classical music, dance and cultural festivals and forms the hub of Kolkata's cultural district.
