Chandannagar Museum and Institut de Chandernagor

The Chandannagar Museum and Institut de Chandernagor is a heritage museum located on Strand Road along the Hooghly River in Chandannagar, West Bengal. Housed in the former French colonial administrative building, it preserves artifacts from Chandannagar's period as a French settlement (1673–1950). The institute functions as a museum, library and archive, displaying French-era documents, furniture and objects that illustrate the town's colonial history and Indo-French cultural heritage.
