Bagori Village

Bagori Village is a traditional Himalayan settlement in the Harsil Valley of Uttarkashi District, Uttarakhand, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River near Harsil and about 25 km from Gangotri. Inhabited primarily by the Jad Bhotiya community, the village is known for its distinctive wooden houses with slate roofs, wood carvings and cultural heritage. It offers visitors insight into tribal lifestyle, wool crafts and mountain scenery within the Gangotri region.
